A program for Indigenous educators and cultural leaders to explore and integrate the holistic, developmental principles of Waldorf education within their community schools. The program is also open to non-Indigenous Waldorf educators who share our intentions and seek to deepen their understanding of
Indigenous cultures and perspectives.
Together, participants are invited to discover ways of reorienting and renewing their teaching practices and curricula through a more culturally responsive, place-based, and non-Eurocentric approach—one that honors Indigenous knowledge, values,
and ways of understanding and relating to the world.
Tinkuy—a Quechua word expressing encounter, meeting, and coming together—embodies the spirit of this program: creating a space where Indigenous knowledge, Waldorf education, and diverse cultural perspectives can meet in meaningful and reciprocal exchange.
