Terms & Conditions

After reaching an agreement on the trip details, either verbally, written, via telephone, internet or fax, you will receive a link to our online RESERVATION BOOKING FORM with TERMS & CONDITONS. You fill out the RESERVATION BOOKING FORM in agreement to the program, price, and terms and conditions. You will then receive a PAYMENT FORM with the price and details of everything included, along with payment instructions.

When the RESERVATION BOOKING FORM is submitted you proceed to make your down payment per person. This deposit is required to confirm a reservation per person, and is non refundable. Participants may reserve spaces immediately by completing the RESERVATION BOOKING FORM.

Full payment is due 6 weeks prior to departure. Deposit and payment instructions will be provided on the PAYMENT FORM. Traveler is responsible for cost of wire transfers on their end and PCJ is responsible for bank fees on this end.

When full payment is received by PCJ we will send your complete travel information packet. PCJ reserves the right to cancel a reservation if full payment has not been received by the designated final payment due date. For reservations made after final payment is due, full payment is required when the reservation is accepted.

All prices are based on two persons sharing a room. Single accommodations are available with a supplement when possible. All prices and fares are quoted in U.S. dollars. The rates are based on current tariffs and are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. While we will do everything possible to maintain listed prices, if it is necessary to levy a surcharge up to 10%, we reserve the right to do so with notification prior to trip departure.

All cancellation notices must be received in writing and will become effective as of the date of the postmark.

We require all of our guests to have travel insurance.

If a traveler must leave a PCJ expedition in progress, for any reason whatsoever, we will do our best to give refunds, but we cannot assure this refund. No refunds are guaranteed for any unused portions of an expedition.

PCJ reserves the right to cancel any trip because of inadequate enrollment that makes the trip economically unfeasible to operate or because of good faith concerns with respect to the safety, health or welfare of the participants.

If PCJ or its designated Tour Operator (TO) cancels an expedition prior to departure, you will receive a full refund of monies paid to PCJ or its designated (TO). If we cancel the trip in progress you will receive a prorated refund based on the number of days not completed on the expedition. Again, for your protection, trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

To ensure ethical behavior toward local ecosystems and peoples, PCJ selects TOs who have demonstrated a history of responsible tourism. PCJ will provide educational enrichment as a sponsoring organization and has selected qualified professional tour operators to organize and administer PCJ trips. The designated TO, in turn, acts only as agent for any transportation carrier, hotel, ground operator, or other suppliers of services connected with these tours.

PCJ, its designated TO and service providers shall not be held liable for (A) any damage to, or loss of, Property, or injury to, or death of, persons occasioned directly or indirectly by an act or omission of any other provider, including but not limited to any defect in any aircraft, watercraft, or vehicle operated or provided by such other provider, and (B) any loss or damage due to delay, cancellation, or disruption in any manner caused by the laws, regulations, acts or failures to act demands, orders, or interpositions of any government or any subdivision or agent, thereof, or by acts of God, strikes, fire, flood, war, rebellion, terrorism, insurrection, sickness, quarantine, epidemics, theft or any other cause beyond their control. The participant waives and releases any claim against PCJ and /or its designated TO and service providers for any such loss, damage, injury, or death and each participant is required to submit the RESERVATION BOOKING FORM as a confirmation of such waiver and release as a condition to participating in the tour.

You must be in good physical and mental health. It is each traveler’s responsibility to check with his or her doctor and confirm that they are fit for the high altitude and nature of this journey. PCJ and its designated TO reserve the right to decline to accept any person as a member of a trip or to require any traveler to withdraw from a trip at his or her own expense anytime when such an action is determined by the tour staff to be in the best interest of the health, safety and general welfare of the trip group or individual trip members.

The itineraries and staff presented are subject to change and modification by PCJ or its designated TO. Every reasonable effort will be made to operate programs as planned, but alterations may still occur after final itineraries are sent.
